Full-time bass player with 40 years’ experience performing live and recording with some of New Zealand’s best-known artists, including Dave Dobbyn, Greg Johnson, Tami Neilson, Delaney Davidson, Tim Finn, Bic Runga, Jackie Clarke, Rikki Morris, Strawpeople and Hands Off, New Zealand’s top cover band.

I offer bass guitar lessons from my home studio in Torbay, Auckland, as well as online lessons via Zoom or Skype.

I’m an official reseller of LaBella bass strings and Lakland bass guitars, and I provide re-strings, professional setups, and test-and-tag services to keep your gear sounding great and gig-ready.

In my lessons I teach technique and music theory for bass guitar, alongside practical musicianship skills to help you develop as a well-rounded musician, not just a better bass player.
